Wellington announces that it has issued 29,350 ordinary shares during the month of July 2007, pursuant to the exercise of share options, at 84.5p per share.
In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, Wellington hereby provides notification of the following information:
Wellington's issued capital consists of 5,999,449 ordinary shares of 50 pence each with voting rights and 730,574 preference shares of 50 pence each which have no voting rights (other than for any resolutions which would directly affect the rights and privileges of the preference shareholders).
No shares are held in Treasury.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Wellington is 5,999,449.
The above figure (5,999,449) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Wellington under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
