Grant of Options

                               Grant of Options

Wellington Market Company plc announces that on 21 June 2010, the Company
granted Mr Malcolm Ball, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, 25,000
share options ("Options") over ordinary shares of £0.50 each ("Ordinary
Shares"). The Options have an exercise price of £0.52 and are exerciseable from
21 June 2013. The Options were granted under the Wellington Market Company plc
2006 Enterprise Incentive Scheme.

As a result of this transaction, Malcolm Ball is interested in 75,000 Options
in the Company and has a direct interest in 5,000 Ordinary Shares.
